Do kids who are involved with playing violent video games tend to be more aggressive?
- I dont think kids who play violent video games are more voilant towards other people.
If and when you have children, will you let them play violent video games?
- Yes I wouold let my son play violant games with me and by himself.
Are there benefits to playing violent video games?
- No its just to take up time while at home. It actually is bad for their brains so people say.

Week 10 Definitions and Critical Reading Passage

consest- to permit, approve, or agree; comply or yield (often followed by to  or an infinitive)

emphasis- special stress laid upon, or importance attached to anything

 

 

criteria- a standard of judgment or criticism; a rule or principle for evaluating or testing something.

 

                I think they should have euthanasia passed as a law only if the paitent wants to have it done to him/her. I think the courts should not have it on their deccision.I do not think that the doctors should have a word in taking some one eles life.The pacient should be able to tell them if he wants to take that euthanasia shot, and the courts should not pass this dumb law.They should have the consent of the paitent first.the court gave great emphasis on this topic beacause its vevery inportant. They dont even know the criteria of the situation.

T-Chart and Practice Paragraph Quarter 1 Week 9

I think junk food should stay in schools. It should stay because a lot of kids buy it and then they have PE so the junk food could get burned out. If they take out junk food then kids would ditch school to get junk food because they got munchies. In my previous school there were kids selling munchies. They came up with that alternative to sell there stuff cheaper then the school to have more custemors. They had a good stragety to go to TJ and buy there stuff cheap and then sell them cheap and still make some money at the same time.

Week 9 Vocab Defintions and Close Reading Passage

- strategy some schools are using is providing tasty snacks for their students that are lower in sugar and fat content

- previous years, schools have sold many high-fat and high-sugar items to their students, including cafeteria food in which the main vegetable is too often french fries

 I think that they are trying to take some junk food out of schools. I think all vendy machines do have pure junk food in them. They should put salads in them too. It is effecting the kids health and is getting the kids fater.
